What’s included
The course consists of three in-depth workbooks and accompanying videos discussing everything I know about the writing of violence, combat and action scenes. It delves into questions of setting, research, and some of the many ways Hollywood both fetishises and anaesthetises the portrayal of violence.

- Three exercises to consolidate what you’ve learnt and put it into practice
- Lifetime access to the videos, workbooks, and a Discord server to chat with me and others on the course, plus alumni of this and my other courses
Gold and Silver tiers
In addition, gold tier students have access to a 1-2-1 Q&A with me at the end of the course and feedback and inline commentary on the final exercise.
Silver tier students get feedback and inline commentary on the final exercise.
Bronze tier
This is the self-study course. While you won’t have access to feedback from me, you are still a member of the Discord server and can ask the community in there for advice, share snippets of work for feedback, and ask any questions you may have.
